Keto Roasted Cabbage Steaks
Perfect for a light keto dinner, these roasted cabbage steaks are healthy, low carb, vegan, gluten-free, and easy to make. It takes less than 30 minutes to make the cabbage steaks, and you can prepare them whichever way you prefer—baked, grilled, or fried.
1 head cabbage 4 tbsp olive oil or avocado oil 2 tbsp lemon juice 2 cloves garlic minced ¼ tsp red pepper flakes salt and pepper to taste
Preheat the oven to 400 F and line a baking tray with a piece of parchment paper. Cut the cabbage into 3-inch thick slices. You should get eight slices. In a small bowl, combine the olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, pepper flakes, salt, and pepper. Place the cabbage slices on the baking tray. Then, using a pastry brush, evenly spread the oil mixture over each cabbage slice. Bake the cabbage steaks for about 25-30 minutes or until crispy on the edges.
